Wilier Filante Ultimate 120 Dura-Ace Di2 Bike Info
The Wilier Filante Ultimate 120 Dura-Ace Di2 Bike is an anniversary edition made to mark Wilier's 120th year. Wilier has built bikes in Bassano del Grappa, Italy, since 1906, and it limited this aero road bike to 120 units. Wilier calls it the most exclusive bike it has made. It is built on the Filante Ultimate, Wilier's top aero road platform, and it is sold as a complete bike, not a frameset.
Solstice Blue
The finish is called Solstice Blue 120. It is a deep blue with gold metallic flake that shifts with the light, and copper accents refer to Wilier's Ramato color. The seatpost and the integrated cockpit are painted to match the frame, so the front end reads as part of the bike, not an add-on. A special 120 logo appears on several components. The edition also includes a commemorative jersey in Solstice Blue, and the listing says each bike is numbered.
Frame and Cockpit
The frame and fork are carbon monocoque, made with Wilier's HUS MOD+ carbon and Crystal Liquid Polymer resin. The headset is integrated, and the frame is designed around electronic shifting, so cables and hoses run inside. Tire clearance is up to 700x34, and the bike ships on 700x30 Vittoria Corsa Pro TLR tubeless tires, which gives you room to go wider for rougher roads.
The cockpit is the F-Bar ID2 Ultimate, an integrated carbon bar and stem with a computer mount. Bar reach is 68 mm and drop is 124 mm. Stem length and bar width scale with frame size, from a 75 mm stem on the XS to 120 mm on the XL. The seatpost is the Filante ID2 Ultimate carbon post with no offset. An integrated cockpit limits how much you can change after the fact, so a fitting before you order is worth the time.
Geometry
The five sizes run from XS to XL. The XS has a 505 mm stack and a 373.5 mm reach, and the XL has a 577 mm stack and a 400 mm reach. Head angles go from 70.6 degrees on the XS to 73 degrees on the XL, and chainstays are 411 mm on all sizes except the XL, which has 413 mm. That is race geometry, with a low front end and a short wheelbase for quick handling.
Dura-Ace Di2 and Miche Wheels
The drivetrain is Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 12-speed, with R9250 derailleurs, R9270 shifters, and R9200 crankset with a power meter. The rear derailleur has a CeramicSpeed OSPW RS Alpha custom cage in place of the stock pulley wheels. Chainrings are custom Miche 52/36, and the cassette is an 11-30. Brakes are Dura-Ace R9270 hydraulic discs with Shimano CL900 rotors, 160 mm in front and 140 mm in the rear. The bottom bracket is a Miche Pressfit Ceramic.
The wheels are Miche Deva RD 62 carbon, 700c. The saddle is a Selle Italia SLR 3D Carbon L3, the bar tape is Wilier GT Polyhyde, and the bottle cages are the Aerokit. Pedals are not included, so you can choose the system you already ride.
Who It Is For
This is a bike for riders who want a fully built, top-end aero race bike with a limited run and a clear anniversary story behind it. It has a Dura-Ace Di2 build with a power meter, so it is ready to ride and train on as soon as you add pedals. RA Cycles offers bike fitting in Walnut Creek, California, and Brooklyn, New York, which is the right first step with an integrated cockpit and a five-size range.
