With a UPF rating of 50+, the Giordana Women's La Posta FR-C Pro Lightweight Long Sleeve Jersey is Giordana's long sleeve option for riders who want sun coverage without giving up the feel of a lightweight summer jersey. Giordana lists core temperature regulation as its job, and says a base layer under it extends the range into cooler spring and fall rides.
What it is made of
Giordana calls the fabric new to this jersey: close to the body but not restricting, with a finely woven face that it says gives greater stretch and better wicking and drying. The front is a lightweight microfiber, and mesh inserts sit under the arms. By the numbers, the body is 78% polyester and 22% elastane, the back is 100% polyester, and the underarms are 88% polyester and 12% elastane.
Back panel and details
Three pockets run across the lower back, with one more zippered pocket on the side. A carbon-threaded back panel is meant to stop the pockets from sagging, and a gripper elastic in the back of the waistband keeps the hem from riding up. Set-in sleeves with straight-cut cuffs are shaped to be aerodynamic, and the zipper system is kept minimal. In a size medium the jersey weighs 5 oz (142 g).
The FR-C Pro cut is a close, race-ready fit that Giordana pairs with its Body Clone technology for a second-skin shape. The company advises that customers new to the brand or between sizes tend to size up, and it points to its size charts and fit guide videos for help.
It is available in white from XXS to 3XL, carries 2025 Giordana branding, and is made in Italy. The La Posta print is inspired by vintage postage and old-world filigree.
