The Giordana Women's FR-C Pro MTB Bib Short Liner takes the lightweight, breathable fabrics of Giordana's road FR-C Pro bib short and builds them into a liner for mountain biking. The aim, in Giordana's words, is a road-like feel on the trail, with enough support and compression for long days.
Pockets and fit
Three flying pockets sit across the back. They are large, expandable and designed so a jersey can flow over them, which keeps trail essentials on you without a pack. The cut is ergonomic with compression, and the back of the bib has a horizontal stretch that Giordana added to help keep the chamois in place. The legs use a lightweight, breathable ribbed textured material and finish with a straight-cut hem.
Chamois and construction
The women's-specific chamois is the Cirro S-W, which is aloe vera infused. Giordana designed the bib on a curve to mirror the natural riding position, aiming to remove puckers and creases through the full range of motion. The fabric is a 220 gram Lycra with soft, supportive compression. The body is 75% polyester and 25% elastane and the upper is 100% polyester. It is made in Italy, comes in black and is sized XS to 3XL.
Care is a machine wash at 40°C or less on a reduced cycle, with no bleach, then hang or lay flat to dry.
