The Giordana Men's AV Windfront Bib Tight is a winter bib tight built to keep you warm and protected from sudden storms, wet roads, and cold, windy conditions.
Fabric and wind protection
The main fabric is a breathable three-layer construction treated with Acqua Zero Eco, a hydrophobic finish that Giordana says bonds to the fibers to repel water. Giordana notes the treatment lets the fabric absorb very little water, so it stays lighter than an untreated fabric and keeps its breathability even when soaked.
The third layer is a wind-resistant membrane, and Giordana places it strategically: it starts at the middle of the body where the legs meet the torso, then runs down over the thigh, knee and shin. Those are the areas that take the wind head-on while you pedal. New gusseted stitches at the knee are intended to improve mobility without restricting leg articulation.
Details
Zippered cuffs at the ankle make the tights easier to get on and off over shoes or socks. Reflective stripe accents on the lower legs add visibility, and the chamois is Giordana's Cirro S. The fabric is 94% polyester and 6% elastane. Care is a cold machine wash at 30° C, no bleach, no iron, hang or lay flat to dry.
