Colnago C68 Fleur-de-Lys Limited Edition Bike Info
The Colnago C68 Fleur-de-Lys Limited Edition Bike is a numbered run of 111 road bikes, made to mark the start of the 2024 Tour de France in Florence. It is built on the C68, Colnago's modular carbon road frame, and finished with details that tie it to the race: a fleur-de-lys motif on the livery, saddle, and bottle cages, and a blue and gold color scheme. Colnago has been building bikes in Cambiago, Italy, since 1954, and this Colnago road bike is one of the most collectible in its recent line.
The C68 Frame
The C68 is a modular carbon frame made from 8 separate carbon parts. It is a disc-brake frame with internal cable routing, a T47 bottom bracket, and a 1-1/8" steerer, matched to a carbon fork with integrated cables. The headset is a CeramicSpeed SLT, and the carbon seatpost is D-shaped with 15 mm of offset. Sizes for this edition are 48.5, 53, and 55 cm. That is a narrow range, so check the geometry against your fit before you commit. The 53 cm has a 575 mm stack and a 395 mm reach, and the 55 cm has a 593 mm stack and a 403 mm reach.
The cockpit is Colnago's CC.01 integrated stem and bar, in a limited-edition version with a gold Tour de France logo. Integrated cockpits make fit changes harder than a conventional bar and stem, so a fitting is worth doing before you order. Stem and bar sizes are set by frame size: 110 mm and 39 cm on the 48.5, and 120 mm with 41 or 43 cm bars on the larger frames.
Dura-Ace Di2 and ENVE Wheels
The bike is built around Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 12-speed electronic shifting with hydraulic disc brakes. The crankset has custom Carbon-Ti 52/36 chainrings, and the cassette is an 11-30. This edition also adds a CeramicSpeed pulley set in the rear derailleur and Carbon-Ti X-Rotor SteelCarbon 3 rotors, 160 mm in front and 140 mm in the rear.
The wheels are ENVE SES 4.5 in a limited Colnago x Tour de France edition. They are hand-spoked in Italy and have gold spokes. They are fitted with Continental GP5000 S tires in 700x28.
Collector Details
The detailing is what sets this bike apart from a standard C68. The Prologo Nago R4 saddle is a Fleur-de-Lys edition. The bottle cages are limited-edition replicas of the Tour de France trophy. The bar tape is black Colnago Grip. Each bike comes with a Colnago x Tour de France bike cover and a collector's booklet. The Fleur-de-Lys livery draws on Florentine and French heraldry, which is why the lily appears across the bike.
Who It Is For
This is a bike for collectors and for riders who want a modern Italian race bike with a story behind it. It has a full Dura-Ace Di2 build and top-tier ENVE wheels, so it is a complete, ready-to-ride bike and not only a display piece. Pedals are not included, so you will need to bring your own. RA Cycles offers bike fitting in Walnut Creek, California, and Brooklyn, New York, which is the right first step with a limited-size run and an integrated cockpit.
