The Scott Foil RC 10 Bike is a Scott road bike built around the Foil, the brand's aero race platform. It combines the Foil RC HMX carbon frame and fork with Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting, hydraulic disc brakes and 50mm-deep Syncros Capital wheels. It comes in Carbon Black or Champagne Pink / Carbon Black, and only pedals are left for you to choose.
An Aero Frame With Race Geometry
The Foil line exists to move air efficiently at speed, and Scott positions the Foil RC as its fastest road bike. The frame and fork are Foil RC HMX carbon, with a 1" eccentric carbon steerer that shapes the head tube area around the fork rather than treating it as a plain round junction. Scott has said the current Foil RC generation uses fewer carbon pieces and joints than the bike it replaced, an approach aimed at trimming weight while keeping the frame stiff.
The geometry is built for racing. Chainstays are 412mm on every size from XXS to XXL, so the rear end stays compact whether you ride a small or a large frame. The size run is wide, and head tube angles change from 70.5 degrees on the XXS to 73.3 degrees on the XL and XXL, which keeps handling consistent across the range. A medium has a 548mm stack and a 389mm reach, an assertive but not extreme fit for riders who want to hold a low position for long efforts.
Ultegra Di2 Shifting and Hydraulic Braking
Shimano Ultegra Di2 is the electronic groupset most riders reach for when they want top-end shifting without paying for Dura-Ace. The Foil RC 10 uses it throughout: Di2 shifters, front and rear derailleurs, and Ultegra R8170 hydraulic disc brakes with Shimano CL800 rotors, 160mm in front and 140mm in the rear. Shifts are push-button quick and consistent from the first ride to the hundredth, which matters when you are changing gears mid-sprint or in a pack.
The gearing is race-oriented. A 52/36 crankset is paired with a 12-speed 11-34 cassette, giving you a tall top gear for fast flats and descents and a 36x34 low that still handles most climbs. If your rides include long, steep pitches, it is worth talking to us about whether this range fits your terrain. There is no power meter on this build, though you can add one later.
Wheels, Tires and Cockpit
The Syncros Capital 1.0 wheels are 50mm deep front and rear, a depth that generally balances aero benefit against handling in gusty conditions. They are fitted with Schwalbe Pro One Aero tubeless-ready tires in 700x28, a width that lowers rolling resistance and adds comfort on rough pavement compared with narrower race tires.
Up front, the Syncros Creston 1.0 Aero handlebar and Syncros Foil 1.5 Aero stem keep the cockpit aero-shaped. A Syncros Duncan SL Aero seatpost, a Belcarra V 2.0 cut-out saddle on CrMo rails and Syncros RC bar tape finish the contact points. Pedals are not included, so bring your favorite road pedals or ask us about options.
Who It Suits
The Foil RC 10 is made for riders who race, or ride like they do: fast group rides, criteriums, road races and long solo days where drag is the enemy. It gives you the aero platform Scott builds its fastest road bikes on, with a Shimano Ultegra Di2 build that keeps the price below the top-tier models. The maximum rider weight is 264 lbs, including bike, rider and equipment.
