Cold-forged aluminum arms built with Hollowtech II construction keep weight down while delivering the kind of bottom-bracket stiffness that translates directly into power on climbs and technical terrain.

This is the 2x12-speed version, designed around a 52mm chainline and Boost spacing — the wider hub standard that stiffens the wheel build and sharpens the overall drivetrain geometry. A 172mm Q-Factor keeps your feet in a narrow, efficient stance throughout the pedal stroke, and the direct-mount chainring interface means the 36x26 ring combination seats securely with minimal flex under load. Three crank arm lengths — 165, 170, and 175mm — let you dial in fit based on your riding style and anatomy.

Shimano XT FC-M8100-2 Boost Crankset Specs at a Glance

Material: Cold-forged aluminum (Hollowtech II)

Speeds: 12-speed, 2x

Chainring Options: 36x26T

Chainline: 52mm (Boost)

Q-Factor: 172mm

Crank Arm Lengths: 165, 170, 175mm

Weight: 650g

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/7684/9196/files/shimano-xt-fc-m8100-2-boost-crankset-7288007.jpg?v=1771297269
