For time trial and triathlon riders running Di2, it puts gear changes exactly where your hands are without adding bulk or interrupting your position.

Each switch connects directly into your existing Shimano Di2 11-speed road system via the EW-SD50 wire, plugging into your brake/shift lever as a remote input. Because there's one button per side, you'll need to configure the action using a Shimano programming device — synchro-shift being the natural choice, letting the system manage front and rear derailleur coordination while you focus on output. Multi-shift and single-shift are also programmable depending on how you prefer to work through the cassette. The pair weighs 31g combined, so there's nothing to notice once they're installed.

Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 SW-R9160 Shift Switch Specs at a Glance

Compatibility: Shimano Di2 11-speed road groupsets

Connection: EW-SD50 wire (sold separately)

Programming: Requires SM-PCE1 or SM-BRC2 device

Weight: 31g (set)

Mounting: Bar-end mount for TT/triathlon aerobar extensions

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/7684/9196/files/shimano-dura-ace-di2-sw-r9160-shift-switch-9522193.jpg?v=1771297927
