This is the seat stay-specific variant of Shimano's Dura-Ace 9100 direct-mount lineup, sold individually.

The arms have been shaped and lengthened over the previous generation to accommodate wider tyres — Shimano specifies clearance up to 28mm — and a stabiliser bridge between the pivots stiffens the caliper under load, translating to more consistent feel and better modulation when you're scrubbing speed hard. On the cable management side, the micro-adjuster sits flush with the brake arm in its closed position, keeping it protected from snags, while a barrel adjuster at the cable housing stop gives you fine-tuning without tools. Centring adjustment is accessed from the top of the caliper — simple and fast. Shimano's aluminium-rim-specific brake pads are included, and the caliper accepts most aftermarket pads designed for Shimano-compatible cartridge holders.

Shimano Dura-Ace BR-RS9110 Direct Mount Specs at a Glance

Mount type: Direct-mount, rear seat stay

Claimed weight: 152g

Tyre clearance: Up to 28mm (manufacturer specification)

Pivot design: Dual-pivot with stabiliser bridge

Includes: Shimano aluminium-rim-specific brake pads

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/7684/9196/files/shimano-dura-ace-br-rs9110-direct-mount-rear-seat-stay-brake-3625860.jpg?v=1771297989
