Its curved profile nestles against the handlebar, and two side-by-side buttons handle upshift and downshift without requiring you to reach for the drops.

Out of the box, the SW-R600 is configured to connect to the right-hand Di2 STI lever and control the rear derailleur. Mounting is straightforward — the switch secures to the bar with zip ties, which are included. The approximately 30mm lead plugs directly into one of the ports on a compatible Di2 STI lever, and it can run alongside bar-top sprinter switches if your setup calls for both.

Shimano Di2 SW-R600 Climber Switch Specs at a Glance

Compatibility: Shimano Di2 electronic groupsets

Default configuration: Right-hand lever, rear derailleur

Reprogrammable: Yes, via Shimano E-Tube PC interface

Mounting: Zip ties (included)

Cable length: Approximately 30mm lead to Di2 STI lever port

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/7684/9196/files/shimano-di2-sw-r600-climber-switch-3833991.jpg?v=1771298115
