Remove the battery from the bike, slot it into the charger, connect the power cable, and a charge indicator light confirms everything is working. From empty to full takes around 90 minutes.

One practical detail worth noting: the power cable is sold separately from the charger unit itself. This is intentional — it means the SM-BCR1 works with any country's electrical system, as long as you pair it with the appropriate regional cable. If you're unsure which cable suits your setup, the team at RA Cycles can point you in the right direction.

Note: this charger is compatible with the SM-BTR1 external Di2 battery only and is not designed for use with internal Di2 battery systems.

Shimano Di2 SM-BCR1 Battery Charger Specs at a Glance

Compatible battery: Shimano Di2 SM-BTR1 external battery

Charge time: approximately 90 minutes (empty to full)

Charge indicator: LED status light

Power cable: sold separately (regional cables available for worldwide use)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/7684/9196/files/SHIMANO-SM-BCR1-BATTERY-CHARGING-DOCK.jpg?v=1788188774
