The R7170 lever integrates hydraulic fluid actuation directly into the body — keeping braking feel consistent and modulation precise whether you're descending in dry conditions or managing a wet descent mid-ride. Shifting logic follows the same ergonomic architecture as Shimano's upper-tier groupsets, so the step up from mechanical feels immediately familiar.

A built-in reach adjustment lets you position the lever exactly where your hand naturally closes, which matters most on longer efforts where fatigue starts to change your grip. Sold as individual front left or rear right units, this set works equally well as a complete build component or a targeted replacement within an existing 105 Di2 system.

Shimano 105 R7120/R7170 Shift Lever Specs at a Glance

Compatibility: 12-speed Shimano 105 Di2 groupset

Hydraulic disc brake system with internal fluid routing

Reach adjustment built into lever body

Designed for flat-mount disc brake calipers

Available in Black; sold individually as front left or rear right unit

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/7684/9196/files/shimano-105-r7120r7170-shift-lever-and-brake-set-6600436.jpg?v=1771298116
