This extension mounts to a 2-inch hitch receiver and swings the entire rack assembly out past 90 degrees toward the passenger side, giving you clear access to the rear of your vehicle with bikes still loaded.

The flatlock cam system keeps the arm locked in place while you're driving — it only moves when you want it to. A locking hitch pin and an aluminum stainless steel thru axle are included, and the extension is designed to work with Kuat racks carrying up to four bikes. If you already own a compatible Kuat rack, this is a straightforward addition that meaningfully changes how the whole setup functions day to day.

Kuat Pivot Swing Away Extension Specs at a Glance

Hitch size: 2-inch receiver

Swing direction: Passenger side

Swing range: Over 90 degrees

Compatible rack capacity: Up to 4 bikes

Included hardware: Locking hitch pin, aluminum stainless steel thru axle

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/7684/9196/files/kuat-pivot-swing-away-extension-for-2-passenger-side-6419119.jpg?v=1771300165
