It is a 29" front wheel for riders who want a dependable, tubeless-ready replacement or upgrade without moving into carbon pricing.

A Wide, Low-Profile Aluminum Rim

The rim is aluminum with a 21mm depth, a 30mm inner width and a 34.7mm outer width. That inner width gives a tire a broad platform to sit on. A wider internal dimension lets a tire hold its shape at lower pressures, which matters when you are chasing traction on loose or rough ground. The shallow profile keeps the rim simple and robust, and it suits riders who care more about durability than aero shaping.

The rim accepts clincher or tubeless tires, so you can run a tube if you prefer or set the wheel up tubeless to run lower pressures and reduce the risk of pinch flats. Tubeless setup needs compatible tires, sealant and valves, which are sold separately.

DT Swiss 350 Hub

The hub is the DT Swiss 350. It is the part of a wheel you notice least when it works properly, which is the point. This front wheel uses a 6-bolt disc mount, so it fits 6-bolt rotors, which are sold separately. If your frame and fork use Centerlock rotors, check the mounting standard before you order.

Who It Suits

The HX 1700 Spline front is a practical choice if you are replacing a damaged wheel, building up a bike with a mismatched pair, or upgrading from a stock wheel with a narrower rim. Confirm that your fork's axle standard matches this wheel before you buy it. The wheel is sold individually as a front wheel and comes in black.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/7684/9196/files/DT-SWISS-HX1700-SPLINE-FRONT_b4615cf0-efb6-4d68-baa7-ddc8b09044a2.jpg?v=1793220401
