CeramicSpeed designed the OSPW X around a 13-tooth upper and 19-tooth lower pulley wheel setup, and the platform has been proven at races like Paris-Roubaix, Strade Bianche, and CX World Cups — events that put a drivetrain through mud, grit, and repeated impact. It's built to bolt directly onto Shimano's 2x-specific GRX RX820 and RX825 derailleurs.

CeramicSpeed rates the OSPW X system at a 35-40% friction reduction over a stock pulley configuration, and this version steps up further with coated bearing races. The coating is a metallic layer roughly 75% harder than the hardened steel races underneath, applied in a 3-micron layer across the entire bearing surface. Combined with CeramicSpeed's ceramic balls, that hardness translates into high resistance to corrosion — even if the bearing gets hit with degreaser, water, or mud — and it's backed by a lifetime warranty rather than the standard bearing's shorter coverage.

The cage itself is handbuilt with a custom molded carbon fiber construction for low weight without sacrificing durability, and four spring tension settings let you dial in cage tension to match the terrain you're riding. Every OSPW X system is handbuilt in Denmark, with the coated bearing sets matched and paired through the coating and quality control process. It's available in Black, Gold, and Red, and it's a direct upgrade for gravel and cyclocross riders running GRX RX820 who want measurably lower drivetrain friction without changing anything else about their setup.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/7684/9196/files/ceramicspeed-ospw-x-coated-shimano-grx-rx820-8599043.jpg?v=1771295712
