At a claimed 86 grams, it's remarkably light for a full oversized pulley system, and the reinforced cage design is meant to hold up to the loads that come with hard, repeated shifting rather than just looking the part.

Each pulley runs on CeramicSpeed's handbuilt, coated ceramic bearings, and the coating adds corrosion resistance on top of the low-friction spin ceramic bearings are known for. CeramicSpeed states the system reduces friction by 35-40% compared to a stock pulley setup — a claim from their own testing rather than an independently verified figure, though the combination of oversized pulley wheels and ceramic bearings is a well-established way to cut chain friction versus a stock derailleur cage. It's built specifically for the Shimano Dura-Ace RD-9250 and Ultegra RD-8150 derailleurs, so fitment is a direct swap rather than requiring an adapter.

This is a component for riders who've already dialed in the rest of their drivetrain and are looking for the next real efficiency gain, not a first upgrade for a bike that still has stock wheels and a training groupset. At $1,995 to $2,101 depending on finish, it's priced for serious racers and gran fondo riders chasing marginal gains rather than casual upgraders, and it's backed by a lifetime warranty, which matters given the investment. It's available in Oil Slick and Silver finishes, with Oil Slick typically the quicker option to get in hand.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/7684/9196/files/ceramicspeed-ospw-rs-3d-titanium-shimano-92508150-9171153.jpg?v=1771295589
