BBright's asymmetric 79mm-wide shell — 11mm wider than BB30/PF30, with the extra width on the non-drive side — is designed to allow for a wider left chainstay and meaningfully improved lateral stiffness. This bottom bracket is built to work within that standard while delivering the rolling efficiency CeramicSpeed is known for.

The bearings use Grade 3 Silicon Nitride balls — tested at 400% smoother and 128% harder than standard steel bearing balls, and installed into hardened steel races in dust-free clean rooms. The aluminum cups are machined by Rotor in Spain; the bearings are pressed in at CeramicSpeed in Denmark. That combination of materials and process is what puts bearing lifespan in the range of three to five times longer than conventional bearings — a figure that matters far more over a season of riding than it does on a spec sheet.

CeramicSpeed Ceramic Race Coated Bottom Bracket Specs at a Glance

Compatibility: BBright Press Fit frames, 24mm spindle cranks (Shimano)

Bottom bracket standard: BBright — 46mm inner diameter, 79mm asymmetric width

Bearing material: Grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls in hardened steel races

Available colors: Black, Red

Assembly: Cups machined by Rotor (Spain), bearings installed by CeramicSpeed (Denmark)

https://ricycles.com/products/ceramicspeed-ceramic-race-coated-bottom-bracket-bbright-to-24mm-shimano
