Developed with input from WorldTour riders, they use a Windchannel Strips Lycra blend warp-knit fabric across the toe and forefoot, areas that traditionally generate significant drag. The construction is designed to lie flat against the shoe without folding or creasing, functioning more like a second skin than a traditional cover.

The heel and cuff have been refined for a smoother, more streamlined profile, and the bootie carries waterproof protection to make it a viable option beyond dry race days. According to Assos, the Windchannel Strips material outperforms bare skin aerodynamically — a meaningful claim for riders chasing marginal gains in criteriums or time-trial-paced road races.

Assos RSR Speed Booties Specs at a Glance

Windchannel Strips Lycra blend warp-knit fabric on toe and forefoot

Wind-tunnel tested aerodynamic construction

Updated heel and cuff for reduced drag profile

Waterproof construction

Available in Blackseries colorway across three size options
