The Giordana Women's Vero Tri Jersey is a form-fitting short sleeve tri top that borrows ideas from skinsuits. Giordana made it to simplify training and racing, and it comes in purple and black, sizes XS through 2XL.
The full zipper runs to a garage at the neck, so the zipper pull stays off your skin. The neck is low and collarless, slightly scooped, so it lies flat whether you are running or riding, even unzipped. The short sleeves reach nearly the length of the upper arm, and the front panels, shoulders and sleeves are a stretchy, smooth microfiber that wicks, rated SPF 30+.
The back is a three-dimensional woven, directional-stretch textile, SPF 20+, built to evaporate sweat on the bike and on the run. It is also strong enough that loaded pockets should not sag, and Microfresh treatment is meant to limit sweat odor. The two top-access pockets are deep enough for a vest and warmers, with a 5cm gripper elastic underneath to hold them in place. Lycra piping finishes the neck, front waist hem and pockets.
Giordana says the Vero Pro line uses stretchier fabrics with less compression than its FR-C Pro garments, which suits a wider range of body types and makes the jersey easier to get on and off. Made in Italy.
