The Giordana Women's AV Windfront Bib Tight is a winter bib tight made for cold, windy rides and wet roads. Giordana designed it to keep you warm and protected from rain and spray.
Three-layer construction
The tight is made from a breathable three-layer fabric that carries Giordana's Acqua Zero Eco hydrophobic treatment, which bonds to the fibers to repel water. Giordana says the treatment keeps water absorption very low, so the fabric stays lighter than untreated material and holds on to its breathability even when it gets wet. That helps with core temperature management on a long day.
The third layer is a wind-resistant membrane placed where cold air hits hardest. It begins at the middle of the body, where the legs meet the torso, and continues over the thigh, knee and shin. New gusseted stitches at the knee are meant to improve mobility without limiting how the leg moves.
Details
The chamois is Giordana's Cirro S-W. Other details include zippered cuffs at the ankle and reflective stripe accents on the lower legs for visibility. The fabric is 94% polyester and 6% elastane, and care is a cold machine wash at 30° C with no bleach, no iron, and hang or lay flat to dry.
It is available in black, sizes XS to 3XL.
