Giordana Men's SilverLine Thermal Bib Tight Info

The Giordana Men's SilverLine Thermal Bib Tight is a cool-weather bib tight cut from 250g Artica Thermal fabric, a blend of 85% nylon and 15% elastane. Giordana describes it as the SilverLine silhouette upgraded for colder temperatures, with added elasticity for a form-fitting feel and better abrasion and wind resistance.

Fabric and fit

The fabric is compressive and densely woven, which Giordana says adds durability and wind resistance. It wicks moisture, deflects odor and carries a UPF 50+ rating. The waistband and ankle cuffs are straight-cut. Reflective accents on the calf add some visibility on dark winter roads.

Chamois and straps

The pad is the Cirro chamois, aloe-infused and anti-microbial. The straps are lightweight with a mesh back, which Giordana designed to give more flexibility and breathability than a heavier thermal strap. Care is simple: machine wash at 40 degrees C or less on a reduced cycle, then hang or lay flat to dry.

These bib tights are made in Italy and come in black, sizes XS through 3XL.

The RA Perspective

The SilverLine Thermal is a straightforward cold-weather bib tight: one fabric, one chamois, no extra pockets or panels to think about. The 250g Artica Thermal fabric is the point of the product. Giordana built it to be compressive and densely woven for wind resistance, and the mesh-back straps keep the upper half from feeling heavy.

We like the straight-cut ankle cuffs. They keep the lower leg simple. The reflective calf accents are a small addition that matters on early winter mornings when the light is poor.

The tradeoff is that Giordana does not publish a temperature range for this tight, and wind resistant is not the same as windproof. If you ride in near-freezing conditions, plan to pair it with a proper base layer and a shoe cover instead of expecting the tight to do all the work. The fit is also form-fitting by design, so if you are between sizes or plan to layer underneath, check the size chart before ordering.

This is the tight for riders who want a clean, simple thermal layer for fall, winter and early spring training and who prefer a bib over a waist-high tight. The Cirro chamois keeps it in line with the rest of the SilverLine range.
