Capo LTD Giro SC Race Bib Shorts Info

The Capo LTD Giro SC Race Bib Shorts are Capo's Super Corsa race bib short, built around a 12-panel anatomic pattern and a high-gauge, low-volume Race microfiber. Capo designed the fit to provide compression for fatigue management, improved circulation and recovery. They are made in Italy and come in Magenta Rosa, sizes S through XXL.

Fit and construction

The leg bands are 7cm Race Grip bands, which Capo says give ample compression with a lightweight, balanced fit and better breathability. Up top, a single-piece elastic brace is paired with an all-way stretch microfiber mesh upper for stability and freedom of movement. The fabric blend is 59% polyamide, 20% polyester and 21% elastane.

The chamois

The insert is the Anatomic CS EIT, a medium form factor with multi-density elastic foam and an ultra-soft, anti-bacterial microfiber surface. Capo chose it to keep the short comfortable over a long day in the saddle.

The bib is meant for racing and hard group riding, where a compressive, low-volume cut matters more than a loose feel.

The RA Perspective

The SC Race Bib is Capo's top-end short, and it is built for riders who want compression and a low-volume feel. The 12-panel pattern and high-gauge microfiber are intended to reduce fatigue over long, hard efforts, and the 7cm Race Grip leg bands hold the leg in place without a heavy squeeze.

We like to see a single-piece elastic brace over a mesh bib upper, because it keeps the short stable without piling material over your shoulders and chest. That matters most on hot days, when a heavy bib can feel like a second jersey. The Anatomic CS EIT chamois is a medium form factor with multi-density foam, which is a good middle ground for most riders and for rides that run anywhere from two hours to a full day.

The tradeoff is the fit. This is a race cut, so it is compressive by design, and some riders find that style too snug for casual rides or for days when they want a relaxed feel. Chamois comfort is also personal. A medium pad suits many riders, but if you prefer a thicker pad for ultra-distance rides, test it against what you currently ride before committing.

If you want a short that works for racing, fast group rides and long training days, and you like the Giro magenta look, this is the one we would point you to. Pair it with the matching SC Aero Jersey for the full kit.
