Bicicletas Scott

Scott Sports was founded in 1958 when Ed Scott replaced the bamboo and steel ski poles of the day with a tapered aluminium design — and the company has been applying that same materials-forward thinking to bicycles ever since. Scott entered the mountain bike market in 1986, and in 1989 produced the aerodynamic clip-on handlebar that Greg LeMond used to win the Tour de France by eight seconds — one of the most dramatic finishes in the race's history. By 1995, the Endorphin had become one of the first carbon fibre mountain bikes produced at scale. Scott went on to sponsor the Mitchelton-Scott UCI WorldTeam from 2012 through 2020, using the partnership to develop road bikes at the highest level of professional racing. RA Cycles carries Scott's complete road, triathlon, mountain, and gravel lineups. On the road side, the Addict RC is Scott's flagship lightweight race bike and the Foil is their aero platform — both available across multiple build tiers. The Plasma RC Ultimate is Scott's top-level triathlon and time trial machine, with builds reaching $16,999. In the mountains, the Spark RC is Scott's XC race bike, available from the Comp through the SL. The Addict Gravel RC and Scale Gravel round out the quiver for off-road road riding.
